Again, purple talk bubbles indicate Zemus. He’s probably the only one to get his own color like that, mostly cuz he’s a hologram, I suppose. Dunno why I really decided to do that.
As for Kip, he doesn’t beat around the bush when he wants answers. He’s trying to ferret out the truth of this situation and he’s going to do everything he can to see if Zemus’ explanation holds water.
Of course, Zemus was the one who killed KluYa, though Kip doesn’t know that. Zemus is not about to share that information, either. Kip is still useful to him, so Zemus wants to smooth things over the best he can for the time being.
Oh, and the reference to the Manor — that was a government-run academy that existed on the old Lunar world, Runne, before the planet was destroyed. KluYa, Zemus and Kip were all involved in different aspects of the Manor, though this is really not the place and time to go into the details of that. We’ll hear more about Runne and what led to its destruction in the future.
