Interview with Edward

What do you think of the following people?

Cecil- (smile) Cecil was a great guy! I was sorry that I wasn't able to stay with him for his whole journey but I felt good to be able to help him for the little time I could.

Kain- I didn't know him but I heard stories about what he did. It was quite a shame. I don't respect anyone who helped steal the Crystals.

Rosa- Such a sweet, sweet woman she was. (sadly) She reminds me of my Anna! Oh how it was such a great relief to see her heal from the Sand Fever. No one deserves to lose someone they love.

Cid- I knew Cid from previous trips to Baron. He was such an excellent engineer...he is quite a confident man wasn't he?

Rydia- I first met Rydia when she was just a little thing! Such a sweet girl with just great power! I was surprised to see how she had changed when I saw her at Cecil and Rosa's wedding.

Edge- I met Edge at the wedding. For the little while that I talked to him, he seemed pretty nice. Maybe a little bit arrogant. He kept chasing after Rydia the whole night!

Palom and Porom- I also met these two delightful children at the wedding. They are the cutest little twins. Palom was a very open boy whereas his sister was for formidable and kept him line!

Yang- I got the privelage of fighting along side of Yang when the Crystal of Air was being pursued. He is a great fighter and a great man! He will be a great King for Fabul.

Golbez- (angry but calm) Golbez killed my beloved Anna. That was a very hard thing for me to accept. It still is. She came to me, though, one night in Kaipo and told me move on with my life. Her telling me that has helped me to not feel as angry about it.

Zeromus- (miffed) I'm glad Cecil and his companions were able to destroy him! If they hadn't, I don't know where the world would be today!

Tellah- (sadly) Tellah was a great man. Anna loved him so much and we felt so guilty for betraying him. We had planned to tell him, but Anna was killed first. God rest his and Anna's wonderful souls.

Can you please tell us a little bit more about Anna and how she died?
(sadly) Sure...Anna and I had been in the my castle of Damcyan and we were discussing going back to Tellah to reconcile her with him. We were just about to leave when Golbez and the Red Wings attacked us. A soldier was coming after me with a bow and arrow. (Tears glisten in his eyes) When he shot it, Anna jumped in front of me and shielded me from that arrow. Then she died. I have never been so devastated in my life, Cristi. I miss her terribly, even to this day. I just feel so guilty that we were unable to say everything to Tellah that we wanted to say.

Tell us about the vision of Anna you had in Kaipo:
It wasn't a vision, Cristi. It was real. I was playing my harp next the Kaipo pond when a Water Hag attacked me. Anna came to me and encouraged me to be strong and to fight. Once I had killed the Water Hag, Anna spoke to me. She told me to be strong for the world and to help Cecil. I had to let her go. After I saw her, the pain was eased. I was able to say good bye...

Tell us more about the Antlion and the Sand Ruby:
I knew that I had to help Cecil save Rosa. He didn't deserve to lose the one that he loved. Since only Damcyan royalty can enter the Antlion's cave, I went! The Antlion had always been tame though. Always! I was shocked when it attacked us when I tried to get the Sand Ruby. I realize now though, that Zeromus's evil had affected all of the animals of the land.

How did you feel when you helped Yang and Cecil fight the Red Wings for the Crystal of Air?:
I felt that I didn't do very much, to tell you the truth, Cristi. My harp was effective in charming alot of the monsters but altogether, we were out numbered! Then, right before I got to the Crystal room, one of the monsters hit me with a lightening bolt. That weakened me a great deal. It was a shame that we couldn't protect it, but that doesn't really matter now, since they are all back to where they should be!

What was going through your mind when you fell off of the ship and into the water when Leviathan was attacking you?:
I was looking over the edge for Yang and Rydia, who were both in the water. They disappeared and I guess I was leaning a little too far over. Leviathan rocked the ship and I was tossed in. The shock of the water was so great! It wasn't long before I passed out. The next thing I knew, I was laying in the Toroian hospital.

Tell us more about the Dark Elf and how your harp affects him:
When Cecil and his friends went into the cave of the Dark Elf, they were unable to use any metal armor. Before they went, they visited me and I gave them the twin to my harp. When it came time for them to fight the Dark Elf, they couldn't because of their lack of protection. I could sense they were in trouble so I crawled out of my bed to get to my harp. I was in SO much pain but I knew that I had to get to it. Once I started playing it, the Dark Elf became immobilized and they were able to re-equip and save the Crystal of Earth!
