Well, the chase scene has come to a screeching halt with the arrival of TsuMe. Unlike Kip, he doesn’t beat around the bush, nor does he withhold giving punishment.
At this point, TsuMe is probably pretty irrate with Ben since Ben does have a history of getting away with poor behavior. So with all of his short-lived patience worn away, TsuMe takes discipline matters into his own hands.
Also — terminology!
Flicker You see it on this page, but what is that? Flickering is a sort of short-distance teleportation magic. It kinda gives the idea that someone is “flickering in” (appearing suddenly).
TsuMe does have the ability to use short-range teleportation powers — in fact, he flickers a whole lot during common battle. At this point, the only one in Shimmer who can flicker is TsuMe (it’s a pretty advanced sort of skill). But when Ben gets a little older, he specializes in this sort of space/time magic. ^_~
