This is my first attempt at integrating a 3D rendered background into a cell shaded style layout. I hope it worked out okay. If it works, then I’m hoping to continue to do this with future backgrounds — it helps make things look more consistent and hopefully much cleaner art-wise. I just worry about the background looking out of place next to my cell-shaded artwork.
Aur’s imagination runs away from him in the middle frame there. Afterall, he is a scared little kid. I think I’d be just as shaken up as he is if I were in his position.
