Rosa is the daughter of a Dragon Knight and was raised as a member of minor nobility in the kingdom of Baron. Her childhood friends were Cecil Harvey and Kain Highwind. As the three of them grew older, Rosa began to fall in love with Cecil. However, since he was an orphan of unknown heritage and she was of noble blood, the two could were not an appropriate match. Rosa was forced to keep her love to herself.
Everything changed due to the Crystal Wars. As a powerful White Wizard, Rosa was determined to fight along Cecil's side all the way to the core of the Moon. Along the way, Cecil found out the truth behind his heritage and after the defeat of Zeromus he was crowned as King of Baron. Rosa was finally free to show her true love for Cecil... and the two were married upon the throne of the kingdom.
Rosa's advancement in title to Queen of Baron has done very little overall to change her personality. She continues to be a warm-hearted, understanding and nurturing individual due to her natural affinity to the use of Healing Arts.
As a diplomat, there is a determined and strong-willed side to her personality that often gets overlooked simply due to the fact that she is a woman. Rosa is agile-minded, thorough and quick to pick up on the small details.
After discovering the truth behind Cecil's heritage, Rosa has also grown very interested in discovering as much as she can about the Lunarian race. She holds a strange affinity for anyone that has connections to the people of the Moon, often hijacking them to gather as much information as she can – all of which she claims she uses to help Cecil in his ongoing struggle of self-acceptance.
