Palom is the twin brother to Porom. Though he is very young,
he is extremely talented in the art of Black Magics. His powers, strangely enough, run at extreme polarities with his sister's --
Palom is a Black Mage while Porom is a White Mage. Yet, together,
the two children can amass a linked power of both, using a very
rare type of "Twin" magic.
Despite their young age, the Twins are held in high respect by their mentor, the Elder of Mysidia. It was the children that the Elder sent as spies to watch over the Dark Knight Cecil during the Crystal Wars. Their journey led them to challenge the peak of Mt. Ordeals, where they witnessed the transformation of Cecil from Dark Knight into the Paladin. They are still close friends with Cecil, often visiting Baron by way of the Serpent Road.
Palom is a reckless, immature and fresh-mouthed
boy with an ego almost as big as his mouth. His sister, however, shows her disapproval at his brash mannerisms every chance she gets. Neither sibling can stand to be with each other, nor can they
stand to be separated.
- Though Palom is still a student under the teaching of the Mysidian Elder, he has mastered a large amount of various Black Magics. Some of these border on high leveled spells.
- When casting with his sister Porom, they can perform various forms of Twin magic -- a combination of White and Black energies.
- Palom can often tell if his twin is in trouble, hurt, or feeling distressed. This can carry over long distances.

Porom has the matching amulet to this set. It strengthens the bond between the twins and ultimately grants more powerful effects of their Twin magic.
