His first two decades of life were spent living on the planet of Runne under the care of his mother. However, due to his heritage, as soon as his magical abilities began to develop the Manor took him away from his family for proper training. This was a scarring event during FuSoYa's young life and it marked the beginning of his bitter battle against the appalling methods that the Runnian institution used.
It was not until he had passed into his middle ages that he found out that he had a younger brother. The death of his mother left KluYa with no other living relatives to care for him. Thus, the Manor appointed FuSoYa as his caretaker – a title that he agreed to grudgingly... at least... at first.
Upon the destruction of his world, FuSoYa chose to become a Guardian over the sleeping refugees that escaped to the Red Moon. During the Crystal Wars of the Blue Planet, he met with Cecil and his comrades then joined the heroes in the battle against Zeromus. It was during this time that FuSoYa revealed to Cecil the truth of his heritage as well as freed Golbez from Zemus' mind control.
Using his powerful Mind magics, he infiltrated the Giant of Babil and broke Zemus' control over Golbez. Together, Fu So Ya and Golbez then returned to the moon and defeated Zemus (though they were unable to slay Zeromus). After the fall of the Hatred, FuSoYa chose to force the Red Moon from the Blue Planet's orbit, allowing it to start a journey for its own light.
FuSoYa is an ancient of the world long past and is the oldest living
Lunarian alive. Upon the new Lunar Homeworld, he has been named the High Sage and leader of the new nation of Lunarians.
Though he is not a cruel person, he is known for his strength in
will, and cold manner in dealing with others. First impressions show him to be very bitter, sharp-tongued and harsh -- he rarely makes a true show of emotion to others.
Despite all this, FuSoYa has vowed to take care of Golbez, who has become a lost soul after the breaking of Zemus' control. Though the two of them seem to be constantly at odds with each other, they are the only family that either have on Lunarious. Because of this, a bond of understanding has formed between them... though neither would admit it...
- FuSoYa is a High Sage of the Lunar people. He holds knowledge of a vast range of magical abilities which spans both Black and White. Due to his father's heritage, he has also been granted powerful mind magics... which he uses very sparingly if at all.
- In his younger days, he was considered a powerful battle-mage and had mastered a good knowledge of the art of staff fighting. However, due to the effects of aging on his body, such skills are mostly long lost to time.
Lunar Staff- A weapon that was crafted with the help of his father, SoYa. It can serve as a battle staff as well as a focusing rod that helps to amplify the power released by FuSoYa's spells.
