Chase is an orphaned child whos origins are unknown. No one is certain of how he came to live in the city of Baron. He managed to evade the life of a peasant servant and slip into the ranks of training pages in Baron Castle.
Chase is often picked on by
the older boys because he has an air of strangeness that sets him apart from the other children.
Often, it is only by using only his quick wit can he escape their taunting wrath.
Though he is a small boy for his age, Chase holds big dreams. He greatly admires the Paladin King Cecil and would one day like to meet him. He aspires to one day be a royal knight and to serve in the company of the King of Baron. However, lack of noble bloodlines makes the road to knighthood nearly impossible for him.
Chase also wants to have a chocobo of his own one day.
