Boundaries
By: Lady Paladin

Mountains, the border
between the earth and the sky
between elements

Along the railing
I stand, golden hair drifting
brown eyes near content

Beside me, my love
is silent, of late wounded
so close to his heart

His still hand holds mine
and his blue eyes admit grief
watching the moon rise

There is naught to say
our love binds us silently
in pleasure and pain
