Here's a FFIV poem that I wrote a while ago. It's about the Five Heroes in case you're wondering.. see which hero you can match with each verse.

You let yourself be the one he meant when he said
"I hate the world"
But you understood his reasons
It was the same reason there's a difference between the
moth and the butterfly
One's beautiful inside
The other's just beautiful
You could have been either
But you never thought you had a choice...

How can I believe there are angels in heaven
when so many are walking upon the Earth?
Sometimes people are sent into our lives when we need them
Other times they appear and touch our hearts
until we began to take notice
You were content to hold your halo
instead of wearing the crown of thorns
You brought a message that had been overlooked
even by the blind man when he recovered his sight...

You knew from the beginning what you believed
and what you were willing to die for
But you were never sure how to fight for it
You were never taken seriously when you thought too much
But there had been so much to think about...

You were beautiful but caring enough to know
that beauty should not be shallow

You were compassionate yet hesitant to show others
Though you knew you were loved for your compassion
You wouldn't let yourself get too close to those who loved you
because you knew what it meant to lose
You saved yourself the pain and regret
but realized that something was still lost each time
you broke another's heart...

Others were willing to listen until you spoke too soon
You were careless with the words that you thought would
make a difference
Everyone has a heart whether they want one or not
They never understood when you said "I can do this alone"
Maybe you'll learn that it's less painful when someone's there
to break your fall...
