The video begins at a shot of Baron Castle. The music does not start yet. The camera zooms in on one of Baron�s castle windows, showing the occupants within. There, Cecil, Kain, Edward, Yang, and Rosa were gathered together in the Throne Room. The camera focuses on each of their faces, as each of them are holding a letter and a confused look. Then the sound of a door opening is heard, and the camera shifts focus on the person who enters the room. It is Rydia, garbed in green. A wide smile is on her face. She faces the group.

"I suppose you�re wondering why I sent you all letters asking you all to come here, right?" ::She looked at one face to another. The group nodded.::

"I need you all to do me a favor..." ::With the mischievous grin, Rydia motioned the group to come closer. She starts to talk to them, but the sound is not audible. The camera shows the group�s surprised reaction to Rydia�s speech. Then, the scene fades out.::

The scene changes to the outskirts of Baron Castle. It appears that a large crowd is gathering, as the camera takes an overhead view of the land behind the castle. There, the camera focuses on a stage that has been set up, a sort of concert area. The scene changes to the streets, where the camera zooms in on a poster on a lamp post, which reads: "Concert Tonight at Baron Castle Area! Admission is Free!" The scene changes again to the moving crowd, showing some familiar faces, like Palom and Porom, Cid, Edge, the Elder of Mysidia, and Yang�s wife. The camera focuses on Edge, who appears to be very skeptical about the event. The camera follows him as he makes his way to the stage. He is able to be right in front of the stage in the forming mosh pit. The camera then takes a shot from behind the crowd, showing the full area of the stage. After the crowd had fully settled, they start to chant, and soon the chanting got louder and louder, until the curtains drew back, revealing the band behind it. The scene changes to show Rydia standing at the microphone, Cecil on the guitar, Kain on the bass guitar, Yang at the drums, Rosa at the synthesizer and Edward with the violin. The band starts up, and the music begins. Edge looks impressed.

::Rydia stands before the crowd, and swings back and forth in time with the music. She holds onto the stand-up microphone. She then draws her face towards it, and starts to sing with the music.::

"For a long time, I was in love..." ::Rydia gains eye contact with Edge, and winks at him::

"Not only in love, I was obsessed...With a friendship that no one else could touch..." ::Edge grins and nods his head emphatically as Rydia smiles at him as she sings:: "...It didn�t work out, I�m covered in shells..."

"And all I wanted was the simple things...A simple kind of life..." ::Rydia gives Edge a rather depressed smile, as if to say that she truly wanted him for that life. Edge looks thrilled::

"And all I needed was a simple man...So I could be a wife..." ::Now Edge looks extremely thrilled, glancing around at people with a cocky grin, thumbs up, saying, �She wants me!�::

"I�m so ashamed, I�ve been so mean..." ::A sudden magic bubble appears above Rydia�s head, showing scenes of her blowing off Edge with his come-ons and charms. And indeed, Rydia has a guilty look on her face as the camera shifts between her and Edge�s reactions::

"I don�t know how it got to this point...Oh, I always was the one with all the love...You came along, I�m hunting you down..." ::Rydia then crouches down, pretending she�s wielding a weapon in her hands, her eyes locked completely with Edge�s. Edge pretends to act like a bullfighter, throwing his cape and raising his eyebrows at Rydia::

"Like a sick domestic abuser looking for a fight...And all I wanted was the simple things...A simple kind of life..." ::In the background, the camera focuses on the band players looking relatively unimpressed, bored, and restrained. Cecil and Kain roll their eyes as Rydia sings to Edge. Edward appears to be living a nightmare as he plays the violin. Rosa looks extremely unhappy, and Yang tries to concentrate on playing the drums. Rydia continues to dance slowly, rocking back and forth on her heels.::

"Ooohhh....If we met tomorrow for the very first time...Would it start all over again would I try to make you mine...?" ::As she sings, Edge starts to look slightly confused. �Wasn�t I the one who wanted to make her mine...?� He shakes it off; still very happy with all the attention Rydia is giving him. Indeed, Rydia slowly starts to move closer and closer to Edge, until the point were Edge is within touching range::

"I always thought I�d be a mom..." ::Now Edge starts to look a bit more confused::

"Sometimes I wish for a mistake..." ::As Rydia continues to sing to him, Edge�s bewilderment grows even more. A mistake...!::

"The longer that I wait the more selfish that I get...You seem like you�d be a good dad..." ::As Rydia sings the lyrics, another magic bubble appears above her head, showing her idea of having a family with Edge. In the thought bubble, Edge is managing seven or eight children in the kitchen, while Rydia is in the background, her hair frizzy and all over the place as she sets the table with four more children. They all look fat and worn down. Edge, wearing a greasy apron over a big belly, seems to be holding the children well, while Rydia looks like she�s been chugging beers all afternoon. Upon seeing the bubble, Edge�s bewilderment plays into fear, and he starts to back off. The image had scared him::

"Now all those simple things are simply too complicated for my life..." ::Sensing Edge�s retreat, Rydia leaps off the stage after him. Seeing this happen, Edge�s eyes widen and he starts to run through the crowd, being pursed by the glitzy Caller. In the background, the band mates appear confused, unsure about what to do next. However, Rydia continues to sing.::

"How�d I get so faithful to my freedom? A selfish kind of life...When all I ever wanted was the simple things...A simple kind of life..." ::The microphone by then had been long lost by Rydia�s hand, and the band mates had dropped their instruments. Truth be told, they were faking the whole song the entire time, with Rydia lip-synching and the band members pretending to play their instruments. The camera shows Edward trying to walk off, but he trips over a cloth, which falls down to reveal a huge stereo, hooked up to the many speakers, which are playing the song.::

"Ahh! No! Stay away from me!" ::Seeing that Rydia is chasing him, Edge pushes through the crowd, knocking people over. Rydia is close right behind him, her arms reach out towards him. She looks slightly crazy as she runs after him::

::With Rydia chasing Edge, the band members leap off the stage after Rydia, apparently all very angry with Rydia for making them do the concert. The camera takes an overhead shot of the chase, people leaping from side to side to get out of the way. The scene suddenly changes, focusing on the Elder, who is walking up to Edge to congratulate him::

"Hello, Edge my boy! That�s mighty neat that you�re getting all that attention from that great ba--!" ::The Elder was never able to finish, for Edge pushes him out of the way, closely followed by Rydia, who is still shrieking the words to the song. Behind her, the band mates pursue their trail.::

"Ow! My hip! Oh, Gods, I think I�m going to die!" ::The Elder rolled around on the ground, and in the background, Palom grins at his sister, as she is paying him Gil.::

"Told ya we shouldn�t take him to a concert. Now you lost your allowance!" ::Palom twirled around triumphantly, extremely happy that he won the bet::

"A simple kind of life�" ::Suddenly, the record gets stuck and the same lyrics repeat over and over throughout the concert. The camera shifts view to show all the concert participants, looking either extremely confused or annoyed.::
